Seven Princetonians win Medals at the 2012 London Olympics

Seven Princetonians won medals at the 2012 London Olympics:
  • Caroline Lind ’06 – United States – Gold Medal, Womens’ Eight (Rowing)
  • Andreanne Morin ’06 – Canadian – Silver Medal, Womens’ Eight (Rowing)
  • Laurean Wilkinson ‘ 11 – Canadian – Silver Medal, Womens’ Eight (Rowing)
  • Glenn Ochal ’08 – United States – Bronze Medal, Men’s Four (Rowing)
  • Maya Lawrence ’02 – United States – Bronze Medal, Epee
  • Susannah Scanlan  ’14 – United States – Bronze Medal, Epee
  • Diana Matheson ’08 – Canada – Bronze Medal, Soccer

An eighth Princetonian, David Blatt ’81, coached Russia to the Bronze medal in men’s basketball.
  
The seven medals in London marks a new best for Princetonians, beating out the six medals earned by the University’s first Olympians at the 1896 Athens Games.
